Hello All,
One year has come and gone and we are still looking
ahead. Hardee County has come a long way thanks
to several helping hands from FBC St.Pete, FBC
Greenville SC, FBC Richmond, Va., World Changers,
The Mennonites, and many more groups. The new
State Road 17 is almost done, damaged buildings
have come down, fallen trees has been removed,
new roofs are many, (still some blue tarps around),
the football, softball, and baseball fields are
repaired, our church is back in full swing, my
house is just about done (wanting for money from
the insurance comp.), and we (Hardee County) are
back on our feet again. To look around it is amazing
to see changes that has taken place over the last
year, and yes every time we hear about a new hurricane
we all make sure that we are ready. Some changes
have been really great, other not so great, but
we are thankful anyways. We are still coming together
as a county and as a community, and that has been
wonderful. The people that received the beds were
so thankful, and the one’s that received
food and other supplies from the CBF was blessed,
the people that received help with the clean-up
well what can I say, and New Hope Baptist Church
as received many many thanks you’s for all
your help. We (I) know that with out all the help,
prayers, support, and the encouragement that we
received from the CBF and the other we would not
have as far as we did in the short time that has
past.
Thanks again for all your help!!!
