Convergence is a journey of self-discovery, professional
development, and missional leadership to prepare today’s
clergy for the emerging church. Sponsored by CBF National,
Convergence is modeled on the Center for Congregational
Health’s Young Leaders’ Program and is open
to leaders in their twenties and thirties who have ministry
experience, but who have not yet reached mid-life and
mid-career. Convergence will focus on the personal and
professional development of leadership in congregations
and related organizations. This process of growth and
discovery is highly interactive and includes four retreats
during the year.
Dates for Convergence:
- Level 1 - October 17-20, 2005
- Level 2 - January 23-25, 2006
- Level 3 - March 6-8, 2006
- Level 4 - May 8-10, 2006
