Jason & Angel Pittman, CBF career missions personnel, are moving to Florida! Jason will serve as the director of Touching Miami with Love and Angel will serve as the special events coordinator for TML. The Pittmans moved down in August with their two sons, Isaac and Lucas.

Jason and Angel Pittman have been involved in urban work for over 10 years. They lived and served in Texas before coming to inner-city Detroit. As field personnel with the urban team of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship they have worked with their partner ministry, Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corporation, in a variety of holistic programs.

Jason is a graduate of Truett Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He also holds a Masters in Social Work from Baylor University. Jason is also the author of Substance Abuse and Spirituality: An Annotated Topical Bibliography. Jason has recently been asked to serve as Executive Director of an inner-city ministry, Touching Miami with Love (TML) as a continuation of his service on the urban team of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. TML serves the African-American community in Overtown just outside of downtown Miami.

Angel's background is in education and in addition to sharing in ministry in their neighborhood and church taught school for a number of years before their first son, Isaac, was born.
