Touching Miami With Love's mission is to share the love of Christ by offering hope, opportunities, and resources for individuals and families.
TML's primary focus is Overtown. Overtown is a small inner-city community of 12,000 people in the midst of metropolitan Miami-Dade (2.3 million). This area is often cited as the poorest community in the State of Florida.
The community is plagued with many consequences of poverty including high crime, drug trafficking and use, high teenage pregnancy rate, single parent families, substandard housing, failed education and lack of quality activities.
TML has a variety of programs and ministries for children, youth and families. Volunteers are needed in daily programs throughout the year as well as summer programs. To learn more about TML and how you and/or your church can be involved, go to : http://www.touchingmiamiwithlove.org/
