Seeking Transformation

And in Christ you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by God’s Spirit. (Eph. 2:22 NIV)

And in Christ you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by God’s Spirit. (Eph. 2:22 NIV)

Sharing stories of how individual lives, neighborhoods, villages, and entire nations are being transformed by CBF missions is one of the joys of “being built together” through Cooperative Baptist Fellowship mission work. In 2019, CBF Florida will offer three chances to experience what God is doing in the world through CBF missions.

Those living in south Florida will be able to experience this on Sunday evening, October 27, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Miami. Event hours are 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. and will feature a community dinner, table conversations, and inspirational worship.

Invite a friend – inside or outside your church – who might embrace stories of transformation from the work of CBF missionaries who seek to be the presence of Christ.

This entire event is free. Childcare is available with advance notice. .

Registration deadline for the community dinner and/or childcare is Monday, October 21, 2019.

Pivot Miami October 23 - 27, 2019

Pivot is a learning immersion experience for lay leaders of all ages that includes six studies exploring God’s mission in the world ahead of 4 days of cultural acquisition and reflection among the many and varied cultures represented in Miami, Florida. We will explore multiple Miami neighborhoods with a focus on their community assets. In 2019 the trip organizers will be CBF Florida and CBF Georgia, alongside our local hosts, Touching Miami with Love. This mission development event challenges thoughts and beliefs about God’s mission in the world and our role in that mission. The trip registration deadline is September 1, 2019. (The 14 spots being held for participants from the Caribbean, FL and GA will be released after August 20, 2019.)
